Who is midbar?

Midbar exists to protect and preserve real stories from real people living real lives in God’s creation. We reject hype driven portrayals in favor of depth, authenticity, and meaning. A Midbar film should leave the viewer reflective, inspired, and stirred to engage the outdoors more intentionally. Visually, our style is filmic and organic. Cinematic yet restrained. Textured yet natural. Slow, intentional, and real.

Internally, we operate from clear Christian conviction. Our faith shapes how we lead, how we treat people, and how we carry ourselves in the field. We pray before projects, prioritize marriage and family over work, and refuse to compromise our integrity for reach or momentum. We work with both Christian and non Christian brands, provided our standards are respected. Every production is executed with professional discipline, physical readiness, creative excellence, and full accountability.

We are willing to sacrifice growth to protect meaning. We do not chase trends, viral moments, or empty momentum. If a story is worth telling, it is worth telling truthfully and with care.

At the same time, we are a business built to serve other businesses. Our goal is not simply to deliver beautiful films. Our goal is to create media that produces measurable outcomes. We want our clients to win. We want them to grow, to strengthen their brand, and to generate real revenue from the work we create together. We are not interested in chasing jobs for our own gain. We approach every partnership with the mindset that your success is the metric that matters. When you make money and build lasting brand equity from our work, we have done our job well.

The boys:

Nathnael Francisco

Nate Francisco focuses on capturing honest stories rooted in the outdoors. At 23, he has built a strong foundation in both documentary and commercial filmmaking, contributing to projects ranging from small business campaigns to Emmy recognized television productions. His work centers on authenticity, clarity, and capturing moments as they truly unfold.

Nate began his journey at 16, creating wedding films and promotional content. That early experience sharpened his technical skill and shaped his approach to storytelling. Originally from New Jersey, he has called Tennessee home for the past six years, where his creative career has expanded alongside his personal connection to the outdoors.

At his core, Nate is an outdoorsman. Bowhunting, fly fishing, and time spent in the woods fuel both his life and his lens. He believes the strongest stories are earned through patience, discipline, and shared experience. Nate is married to his high school sweetheart, Lena, and credits his faith in Christ as the foundation for his work ethic, his gratitude, and his purpose.

Luke Hutcherson

Luke Hutcherson leads creative vision and brand development at Midbar, shaping how stories are crafted and communicated. A Kentucky native now based in Tennessee, Luke has spent the past seven years building a career in photo and video, with a focus on cinematic storytelling in the outdoor space. His work blends brand clarity with grounded, field tested execution.

Luke’s path began with photography and a desire to work with outdoor brands. What started as small paid shoots and consistent practice evolved into a full time career when he moved to Los Angeles for a media and design role, later transitioning into freelance photography. He eventually stepped into the country music industry in Nashville, serving as a creative director, cinematographer, editor, and content strategist across concerts, campaigns, and large scale productions.

Throughout every stage, Luke felt drawn back to the outdoors. Having fished his entire life and later pursuing hunting with intensity and respect, he recognized that his creative skillset and personal passion belonged in the same arena. Today, he focuses on telling stories rooted in hunting, fishing, and the outdoor lifestyle. Luke married his wife, Mia, in 2024, and his faith in Christ continues to shape both his leadership and his work.
